The opening round of the Malaysia Speed Festival (MSF) 2019 marked a particularly exceptional weekend for team HI-REV Dream Chaser, as it was a race filled with One-Two finishes. Team HI-REV Dream Chaser started the qualifying with a One-Two placing and in Race 1 and Race 2, they finished the race with a One-Two position.

Adam Khalid started from pole, raced car number 905 to a first place finished and breaking the record qualified with the fastest lap of 2:37.555 in the Race Car 1600 class while CY Ong partnering the 16 year old Alister Yoong in car number 910 finished in second place. Alister Yoong, just like his father Alex Yoong who started racing a Proton Saga in 1992, raced his first touring car race in the Saga Advance class but due to a penalty in qualifying he had to start from the 60th position and still finished the race in an overall 29th position. He is certainly another young HI-REV talent to be reckoned.

It was a flawless weekend and the perfect One-Two finish for HI-REV Dream Chaser Team in the opening round.
